Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday

As many of you know, the NFL Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 5th. What you may not be aware of is it is also the Souper Bowl of Caring day across the country. The mission of Souper Bowl of Caring is “Using the energy of the Super Bowl to mobilize youth in a united national effort to care for people in their local communities who are hungry and those in need.” The youth of Wesley will be collecting money that will go directly to support feeding the homeless at the Salvation Army’s Safe Harbor Shelter. Students will be outside the sanctuary doors after both services to collect loose change and monetary donations with the goal of raising over $1000 for feeding those in need at Safe Harbor. Thank you in advance for your support which allows us to be the hands and feet of Christ in our own community.
