Brenna Martin, Assistant Director of Music Ministries
Hello, my name is Brenna Martin! I was born and raised in Bloomington, attended Bloomington High School, and I recently graduated from Illinois State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Before coming to Wesley I served for two years as the Children’s Choir Director at First United Methodist Church in Normal. It was this experience that taught me how passionate I am about teaching God’s love to children and youth through music.
Wesley UMC has always been the church I consider to be my home. As a high school student I participated in Surge, served as a member of Youth Cabinet, and sang in both the Jubilation and Exaltation Youth Choirs. I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve at Wesley as the Assistant Director of Music Ministry, and I feel very blessed to be able to give back to the community that shaped my faith to what it is today!
In my free time I enjoy reading, playing card and board games, watching Disney movies, playing the flute, listening to music, and cheering on ISU Redbird’s Football and Basketball teams!
