UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH

We seek to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities.

UWF Vision

We are a powerful, fearless force driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood. With a focus on women, children, and youth, we act for justice and transform communities.

We face the realities we see in the world, even when they are not the ones we want to see. However, our goal is not to bear witness to harm but to God’s love by acting boldly to change those harms.

Bold action, like faith, takes courage. Our bravery is inspired by God’s love and our powerful commitment to improving the lives of women, children, and youth. United Women in Faith works for justice through compassionate service and advocacy to change unfair policies and systems that harm women, children, and youth—from racial and gender injustice to economic inequality, climate issues, and more.

WOMEN ARE A FORCE

Our Wesley United Women in Faith are directly connected to our North District women, and ultimately to the national and worldwide UWF Fellowship. We are hundreds of strong women of faith, a powerful force, and we use that force to assist women and children who need our support.

Wesley UWF supports worldwide, national, district, and local missions through individual pledges and group fundraising. In 2023 our mission and love gifts totaled $27,850. Those gifts empower women and children in need in places they can best serve.

FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS

Wesley UWF hosts three fellowship events yearly, including a meal, an inspirational program/speaker, and fellowship. Join us on February 20th at 9:30 am in the Garden Room for "A Call to Prayer and Self Denial Brunch." All women of Wesley UMC are invited to join! No reservations are needed.
